This character…years before school, responsibility, and reality hit him.
Anonymous said: I love your Sakana fanart! Especially how you draw Yuudai! I'm curious about your taste in stories, comics, movies, shows, etc. Like literature? In general. Sakana is really comedy and romantically themed, are those youe favorite?
I made this almost 5 years ago in Tegaki, which I stopped using. Wait…5 years? Holy shit. I still like it though.
I remember making bunch of other doodles similar to this using Rayman characters during that time. Good times.

Anonymous said: Your characters are so cute and young(? Correct me if I'm wrong) which I think adds to their appeal, even if they are a little, um, brutal? But I wanted to ask you if they have a story to them or if they are just characters. Thanks!
'Children' is a fun concept to use. They often make me think about how they are like some sort of “raw” sentients before it gains a facade of “humanity”.
The 3 male(?) kids I keep posting recently are indeed young, but their exact age I never bothered to determine. My excuse is that their story occurs in span of about 20 years. So the youngest one is 6 to 26-ish, middle one is 11 to 31-ish, oldest one 15 to 35-ish, etc.
Thank you for your interest, Anon.

Can I just say; I just LOVE your naturalistic lighting, and the sculptural hair. You’re seriously one of my favorite artists TxT
I got xKit, and I can reply to things!
Sculptural hair…haha! Thank you! You are too kind.
